I am a Guild Leader and have a decent sized, decent leveled Guild. All I want is to be able to change my ships name. As it is, it has the same name as a lot of other Guild's ships.

I agree - it'd be awesome.
But, I think the tricky part is that an airship is a temporary instance - and as such it's hard to give it a permanent name.
We named ours in spirit, even if the darn thing cannot display the name anyplace in-game.
Mine is Sea of Stars.
I would love it, though.
+The Goddess of Tempest's Spine+Merc's Only, THELANIS: List is here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...94#post2798094 LEGIONNAIRE /Salute to Rameses, He has RETURNED!
Ours is the Sky Apple MachII (namely b/c the first was retired and we're on the lvl 55 storm glory one.)
It would be cool to have a customized plaque some where like the side or bow or up at the helm were people could see it.
for all else, put the name in the motd on the guild channel.
Veriden, Orien server: Lost count of lives. 3 of all base classes, 3 halfling, 2 gnome...working on trying to make the game work again. May or may not return.
Love for Sail?
(Hehehehe... Larry ftw)
That would be interesting, but other than like what Memnir says of it being a temporary instance and there being trouble giving it a permanent name, I see another potential problem. Inappropriate ship names. And all it takes is one bad apple to ruin an otherwise decent harvest.
Why won't nobody name it the Pillar of Autum?
Just think of it!
As the Captain of Nothing Personal's Flying Fock, I would welcome this change dearly.
Steady as she goes.
