I had my first fail a week or so ago. THF barb + missed frost lance by wiz + my rad guard on DT armor (oops) = fail. By the time we had "3 Spiders left" (actually only 2), I was tempted to just kill them myself and get it over with. Barb didn't understand that you don't swing a Gaxe around like a madman. It was rough. Spider killcount was "Barb 3, Wiz 1, Rogue 1". Lesson learned, next time I run that thing nekked.

Hate to say it in a PUG, facinate is more useless than anything else crowd control related.

Typical PUG:
1) Bard runs up and facinates all the mobs.
2) Casters (including divines) drop AoE spells and TWF and THF run in at various targets.
3) Everything is back free.
4) Bard is now feeling USELESS!

Tight guild run:
1) Bard runs up and facinates all the mobs.
2) Party surgically chops the mobs to peices.
3) Everything is dead with little need for party heals
4) Bard feels UBER!

How does a halfling feel uber??? ever??:P
