Nope. Demon Sands was released as Module 3. Dimension Door was part of Module 2.

That boss is not an "objective" so not an exploit. If they want to change it and make that mob an objective and non-bypassable, fine.

I wonder if you think using ddoor in Titan is an exploit too? You can either run the quest (specifically green puzzle) using 6 people, or use ddoors with less to make things go quicker.

Can be done either way, no objectives bypassed, etc.

Sorry man, I disagree with you and until the quest is changed to reflect it's a requirement, I'll continue to bypass the mob if I want.

Well seeing as how three high DC instakill specialists can now complete the whole quest on Epic in ten minutes without creasing their trousers the Rakshaasas aren't really of much import one way or the other

Sorry, but I see that fight as an alternate way for those who don't have d-door available to get out of the room. Just extra adversity for those who don't come prepared.

    Perspective is a beautiful thing.

It's not an exploit. There is no quest objective to defeat the illusions.

Even if there were, using D-Door would only be an exploit if it let you complete without going back and killing them eventually IMO.

I'll bet we don't se the OP in this thread again. I mean we haven't since it was pointed out the Rakshasa Princes were illusions and the fact "killing" them were, in fact, NOT required objectives. Why would the OP show up again?

I say let the thread die.

So avoiding unnecessary fights is an exploit now. Think i didn't get the memo.

Hmm... I just went invisible and ran past 90% of the mobs in Undermine, apparently I just exploited. The dev's should probably remove invisibility and d-door so they don't have to ban half the players in the game.

this is exactly what ddo doesn't need atm : nerfing the game to keep only monster bashing and grind
dd should be a useful spell, not only a way to get out of a quest 3 sec faster just to grind faster ^^

    Question Exploit???

So, if D-Dooring out of the illusory Rakshasa Prince fights is an "exploit," why is this thread still here?

(That question is rhetorical, btw. Please let this stupid thread die.)

I don't recall any of the 'selling open lock wands for massive plat' threads being deleted. Just because a thread is allowed to continue doesn't mean that something won't change. - But the only way to let a thread die is to *not post*

    ^this^

It has been clarified that tactics like this are not considered exploits. So I dunno what the big deal is. Not everyone has ddoor. So not every run is going to miss out on the added challenge or exp.

I like using hiring to pull levers and active things. Also, if you die after active the glyphs, tigerman would vanish. You can also recall out and enter to avoid fighting him, same concept.

    Not on Epic.

Anyway: not an exploit, working as intended.
