    Exclamation Devs: Crafting Wraps Test - Lamannia 7-8-11

    This is my follow-up to Devs: Yet another Crafted Wraps Bug

    The Bad News: (and what the Devs need to know)
    Crafted Wraps with Guild Slots are not working when first put on, again. You have to do something to change your stats and then they will work. I can't even begin to guess why having the guild slot is breaking wraps.

    While Crafted Wraps are now giving the Enhancement Bonus, that is all that is given. Crafted Wraps are not being seen as wraps and given the bonuses for unarmed combat, only the base stat is being applied. * Also see 10.1 Handwraps still broken

    Holy on ALL Crafted Wraps is not breaking good DR.

    The Good New: (and what we all like to hear)
    Crafted Wraps that do not have a Guild Slot seem to finally work the first time they are put on. It seems that the base stats are changed and damage active the first time you put on wraps. These stats still do not show up if you inspect yourself via F1 then Z. I hope that this will be resolved soon but at least we are moving in the right direction.

    Vampirism is working on wraps now!
    For both the Devs to see my tests for themselves and the player's enjoyment I give you my latest video of my testing. There was a bit of lag during these tests because Java decided it wanted all my resources during them.

    Just as a side note - Epic Wraps of Endless light still do not have +6 to hit, but frankly if they just leave them as is with its current stats I will not complain.

    Current Recommendation: Don't use wrap blanks that have a guild slot unless you are willing to deal with the bugs until there is a fix.

    Here is they way I reported this bug. Does anyone feel I missed something?

    Please describe the problem in detail:*
    When putting on crafted handwraps that have a guild slot nothing works until you have swapped out a combat boosting item or have a combat related spell cast on you. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS WRAPS WITHOUT GUILD SLOTS, currently. Other bugs that still affect wraps wo guild slots apply here too. Such as: Holy not breaking DR good, wraps not being seen as unarmed item for purposes of to hit and damage bonuses. No stats from crafted wraps appearing in the self-inspection screen.

    Please give step-by-step instructions on how to recreate this problem. Please include as much detail as possible - this is the most important part of the bug report!
    Create a level 20 light Tier 3 Shintao monk.
    Level in crafting high enough that you can make needed shards.
    Decon wraps that have a guild slot, i.e. Medium Guild Slot used in my tests.
    Make other needed shards; +5, Holy, Evil Outsider Bane, Potential Shards.
    Combine shards with blank wraps with guild slot.
    Take newly crafted wraps with guild slot to Amrath battlefield.
    With no ToD rings on fight most any creature, Makari used in my testing.
    Notice that none of the wraps benefits are working.
    Now cast a combat related spell of swap out combat related gear, Visor of the Flesh Render Guards used in my tests.
    Notice that the Holy and Bane damage are now working.
    Notice that Holy is not breaking Good DR, (Tier 3 Shintao monk have silver hands)
    Notice that while +5 to hit and damage appears, the crafted wraps are not being treated as Unarmed Weapons and receiving its monk based bonuses.

    On live u10 and lam 10.1, you will lose the enhancement bonus and other bonuses when you switch to crafted wraps from non-crafted. (Easy to see for yourself... start with crafted wraps and note your to-hit/damage, switch to non-crafted wraps, switch back to original crafted wraps and your bonuses will be much lower.)

    The mysterious thing is your bonuses keep getting lower the more buffs you have. I and others have noted that when wearing crafted wraps, your to-hit and damage go DOWN when you cast divine might on yourself.

    Default Vampirism

    I have had a few PMs about the Vampirism wraps and my healing amp.

    My healing amp also includes T3 monk amp of 30%. So my amp is 1.1 + 1.2 + 1.25 + 1.3 for 2 (2.145), 4 (4.29), 6 (6.435).

    Lesser Vamirism is only 1 point of healing while Vampirism is 1d3 as shown on DDO Wiki here.

    One other bug that I implied but did not state specifically is that the bonus to hit from the bane is not working, only the damage is currently being added. I believe this all stems from the fact that the crafting code does not see wraps as weapons.

    Again, feel free to ask questions or make comments here... if you PM me I will try to reply to the PM and if it is something that I feel other need to share in I will try and reply to just the question here as well.
