After seeing crafting on live, I have to admit, what happens in beta, should stay in beta until its ready for gold.

I'm willing to test...and im sure many others will...for a bit of live Turbine Points if we make improvements to the beta...come on, show me the Turbine Points!

The reason they say crafting is still in Beta is to warn people that it is a brand new thing which will have flaws and bugs and will be changed constantly with each update.

Saying it is Beta means we wont complain then the materials required is adjusted due to popular feedback.

Having something as huge as this system, which needs to integrate with the whole game not just add to it (as is the case with new adventure packs), needs a serious amount of testing. It was released onto the live servers so we could test it, they could get our feedback and try to absorb it somehow.

Example:

Problem - too easy to make uber BB's (as claimed by many in the game).
Solution - make it harder to make these weapons.

Unfortunately their idea was fundamentally flawed, but an adaptation of that idea is needed and will probably go live with 10.1 or 10.2 whenever they are released.

Silly name used by some people (servers?) to denote a DR breaking weapon for the given creature that has meaningful DR, usually an end boss. Short for Boss Beater. Personally, I'd link a blade barrier scroll (which incidentally bypasses DR )

I see BB used to mean "boss beater" in some servers, but not in others. For example, I hardly see it at all on Cannith.

On Cannith I frequently see Beater or PG (Pure Good) as a reference to Harry Beater

Due to the confusion, i often type Bossb in chat....most of the time when i used to say to "break out your BBs" or "get BBs ready" clerics would put down blade barriers...
