    Default TR to FvS

Hey guys, I'm a cleric 20 and making plans to TR to FvS but I'd like to keep it the "healing way", just as my cleric is.
I've mostly seen here builds for offensive casting FvS and I've used them to make this build.

I'd rlly apreciate advice on abilities scores, spell choices and feats.

One of the most important doubt i have is if it's right to pick both empower and empower healing, since I'd really want to keep my healing efficiency as it is with my cleric (yes yes.. i know the sp pool advantages, but sometimes u have to heal a WF barb with 900hp and without empower healing, how the hell do I do that?)

    Thanks for the feedback!

Stats look good - it's what i use on my offensive caster who heals loads.

Skills - 1 in tumble, max conc, 10 in jump, rest in UMD.

Feats - not having quicken is a mistake - it makes BB far more useable and you'll need it for your healing too. I dropped extend - 20 minute buffs are enough in most situations and the shorter ones like divine power you won't be using often enough with a str of 10 to matter. I went with SF:evo instead of SP. I think emp heal is overkill. With max and emp i rarely (if ever) have problems healing (and you can heal enough of that 900 HP barb's red bar with a clicky running that it's not a huge deal)

I also run with shield mastery. The leviks combined with the capstone DR means you can sit in the middle of most fights and heal with no worries. The minimal incoming damage is trivially healed and helps to proc my sp regen items. It's turned out to be a very useful feat for my playstyle.

Spells - i can't remember everything i run with - but it looks like you have more single target heals than i'd bother taking. Mass heal, 2x mass cures, capstone, sov heal and scrolls work well enough in my experience.

    Hi,

stats looks fine, one can argue about the points in str or even consider dropping start cha a bit more. but its allright.

you can drop loads of the healingspells, you wont need them all, trust me. 5 is what you need, rest is luxury.

    spothealing:
cmw or csw (check what other useful spells there are at their respective levels)
    heal

    masshealing:
    massheal
    mcmw
    mcsw
    OR
    massheal
    mclw
    mcmw

Depending a bit on your item setup and willingness to use clickies to boost healing.

    Cheers,
    -Daz

Tell the WF barb to get some healing amplification. Especially at end game, a WF barb that expects to be a "Main tank" needs amplifcation.

well, guess ill remove the Empower healing and get Shield mastery (also ill swap the levels i get them, shield mastery at lv 3 and extend at 9)

Also, when i read the capstone it says u can cast CLW without using SP, isnt it worth it to learn it? If i didnt pick up CLW i'd pick obscuring mist, which is not such a big deal either.

    also:
    CMW for Hold person (?)
    CSW for Remove Disease (?)
Mass CSW for Greater Restoration (?)
    Deathpact for Mass deathward

    This way i would have:
Cure light, critical and heal (i dont see lv4 spells (critical wounds) that i dont have and id like to have, other than remove poison)
    Mass Light, critical and heal.

I could also change lesser restoration for bull's or bear's

    what do u think?

Not quite. What you get is a feature of your capstone enhancement called Healing Word that functions exactly as cure light, but costs no sp. So you won't have to keep CLW loaded at all.

    Default Quicken

Looks good, but I would try to find a way to get Quicken in there. Should be a lot of fun

Why? a Caster/Healer FvS isnt going to be using a shield all that often. Gotta keep Various Enhancment weapons in your hands almost all the time.. Stuff that just isnt available on a shield. If you want to get rid of Empower Healing, I'd swap in the second Spell Penn feat.

Bulls and bears are useless by level 7 or so. Carry a few scrolls for the hound rad if need be.

I built my guy to match your evoker Impaqt. After the nerf to extend, i swapped it out for shield mastery and it works pretty well. I can tank a lot of stuff thanks to the increased damage mitigation. Getting hit isn't a bad thing when it procs my torc/greensteel and does next to no damage.

It may not be the "perfect" feat for all caster souls, but for some playstyles it's remarkably useful.

    looks fine imo.

all the fvs needs is- 18 wis, at least 14 con. every point after that is player preference. i like to go 14 str, 10 int, 10 cha personally (and 1 more point in con for 15 score). doesnt matter.

skills - jump, concentration, umd. one point in tumble, maybe a few in balance

spells look fine, u got most of the staples in there. i have a personal preference to never take a res spell on fvs. why? because you can scroll and clicky it. lvl 9 spell i would toss in energy drain instead of true res...even tho i rarely use it. its nice for doing solo runs; u can drain orange names before popping an implosion to ease the kill.

enjoy the fvs life its a powerful, fun, and fast class...although the first 7 levels can be tough sometimes until you get holy smite

edit - just thought about feats.

a few feats u want by lvl 12:

    maximize, empower, toughness.

after that u will want quicken, and heighten at 18. anything after that is player preference

I like the hound shield on a wf healbot FvS. It gives you 38 or so DR when shield blocking at lev 20. Not sure what the DR would be on a human, 20-something? If you plan on healbotting most of the time, that kind of DR really helps a lot, WF or human.

WF get at most 5 more stacking DR than a human - why would they have 9+ blocking DR? (honest question - still newish with alot of the numbers in DDO)

For some reason I thought only the WF's adamantine DR stacked with shield blocking. As I said, I am not too sure about that tho. If human FvS DR does stack, then sweet!
