Was in a shroud the other day ... two fvs, a cleric, and seven sorc's in group - not one of the arcane had knock so we had to bust a crystal.

I think they just asked a guy who never played ddo ever before to just randomly pick some new things out for some of the more desireable recipes.
So he'e selecting the one for vampirism:
course he has no idea what that is, so he does a quick search on the wiki:

and picks the first item in the list for the new ingredient required .. Chaosblade.
think, yea there we go. that will be great.

the fact they're gona let this go live just speaks to the sad state of affairs that is turbines QA.. (none existant)
