Comparing eve to DDO is like comparing a slap in the face to the destruction of an entire city.

I agree this next patch has some downsides, but while some things in DDO are certainly irritating, eve was gaining me hours and hours of practice on my four letter word vocabulary.

EVE the game is nothing like DDO the game - that wasnt my ppoint. They are both good games over all for very different purposes.


My point was EVE recently caused a rebellion among its players by introducing a patch that was poorly thought out and the players resented.

Now DDO is planning on releasing a patch that offers almost nothing worth while and will anger many players.

That's surprising, EVE's dev/GM teams were very very good for the years I played. I'm surprised they could be possible of putting out a patch THAT bad. I will have to go look it up!

More or less explain the debacle.
Really the details dont matter because DDO is so different from EVE. What matters is that it was a patch that really really made no sense.
