Someone really needs to teach TURBINE the difference between a Featherduster and a Sledgehammer

Please don't break crafting. I like crafting.

not to mention the use of demon blood in crafting
Doooooom!!!!
Normally I say people are over reacting to changes made. This is one though that I think isn't a good idea. Raid gear, take it out. Period. I don't craft. I think I am level 3 on one of them and that is it....so this doesn't effect me much. But, one thing I do is I roll off gear I don't need to people who want/need it. Next thing I know, everyone and their mother is going to be rolling off for stuff like the nullcloth gown.

Finally! Something I can do with all those chattering rings and dream spitters I have in the bank!

I see where this is going. You included bound items from certain adventure packs so you could totally hamstring crafting if the person didn't already own everything! Smart move. I'm sure this is going to go over well.

crafting was going to be my way of getting half decent gear without endlessly repeating raids I have no interest in. If I wanted to endlessly run dull content, I'd be doing shroud every night with all my toons. As it is I'm doing it 2 times a week with one and that's two times a week too many when I've already run it 23 times. B.o.r.i.n.g.
Crafting was my way to get myself moderately well geared without having to do that - not brilliantly, just moderately. It was going to take a long time, but I was going to be able to do it by just recycling stuff I got while doing normal adventuring across my range of characters. This kills it stone dead. Please don't release this.

This will do more than break crafting. It will break the social loot-sharing dynamic in many raids and quests.
WOW really? RAID loot to craft? That's insane! TOTALLY inappropriate. No No No No No.

sheesh, I cannot see how anyone could possibly think this is a good idea....at all, no matter how i look at it
Here's screenies of a couple of the recipes in question, for reference:
The Greater Lawful Outsider Bane shard also now requires a Large Devil Scale.
Other notable recipes include the Holy Burst recipe, which now requires a Silver Flame potion (SF favor is pretty notoriously a PiTA to obtain), the Greater Chaotic Outsider Bane recipe, which needs Tyrzza's Bane and a Demon's Blood, and the Greater Magical Beast Bane shard, which needs a Razorend.
I find it laughable that the Chattering Ring is referred to as being "often won."
/signed........like Paul Revere signed the declaration telling the british they wouldn't be ringing bells and taking our guns
That's just totally bloody stupid! "Often won"?! I've played since before release and have somewhere in the region of 30+ toons over the years and have never once looted or rolled and won a single chatter ring. What this is doing is segregating large portions of crafting to players who do so 24/7 and making sure casual players have no chance at all.
Sickening....
