The Vault of Night

A resurrection shrine will now appear when Velah is defeated.

Nice. Very nice.

Tower of Despair

Player soul stones will now return to the top of the platform if a player dies in the lava around the grand staircase area.

Actually kind of lol - I've only seen this twice in the raid before. Still, funny.

Guilds

Guilds that were prevented from depositing Astral Diamonds into their guild accounts after purchasing Windspyre Gryphon airships can now do so.

Love for those that play the game the most - good show.

Crafting Beta

Items can now be dragged directly from Collectible, Ingredients and other bags into Eldritch, Crafting and other devices. Additionally, Eldritch, Crafting and other devices will pull required ingredients directly from bags when a recipe is selected.
Crafting Hall vendors will now buy and repair equipment.
Players will now receive platinum along with essences when using Item Deconstruction devices. Preparing an item for crafting does not return platinum.
The crafting animation has been shortened.

Of course, I haven't gone to Lamma to actually experience them, and I'm sure for many things (like Frost being on the GS again), we'll have to say "I'll believe it when I see it."

Still... if we keep seeing little baby incremental updates like this between larger content updates, I don't think it'll hurt my feelings.

Asking for Tomes did seem like an odd choice, I agree. However, I hardly think that outweighs the benefit of gaining a res shrine after Velah and the other improvements.

Then again, I'm not planning on doing high level crafting for a long, long while.

Not even in lotro, where they used to have rare drops used for crafting was it that rediculus.

That is seriously DUMB. Perhapes it should follow standard MMOs. Go out rare name hunting in adventure regions for "rare drops". that do not bind to account. Then again make it require bloodstones and the like then. *sigh*



And what is going to happen to all of the current "haves"? Does everyone get every single crafted gear removed to rebalance the weapons out there so as to keep it from becoming even more have vs. have not???

If you have to grind for specific, rare gear just to craft something that could drop on the random loot tables, why not spend your time grinding epics for epic loot? This just looks to me like Turbine doesn't want people to craft. I mean, who in their right mind uses a Chattering Ring to put halfling bane on junk loot?
