these are awful changes to the crafting system. Really? Raid loot? Come on! It's hard enough to get something like this to drop only to require it to craft a BOUND shard for a guy? I get it if you want to make it that hard for unbound shard items. There's no reason why a guild should have a guild crafter that outfits an entire guild with excellent loot through the use of unbound shards or sells said items for profit on the AH. Sure, make that stuff hard to craft.
I've just started enjoying the crafting system as I've gotten my levels up in the low 20s, and now I basically find out that regardless of the leveling that will take me months to get the levels to max out anything, I still won't be able to craft anything decent unless I grind numerous raids looking for items that I'd rather either use on a character or pass to someone else who needs it.
This game was about community; now on raids you'll see no one pass any raid loot because "they need it to craft."
