    Default Well, it's a start...

    The Aura of Menace projected by a Favored Soul's Angel of Vengeance is now suppressed when the player is sneaking or invisible.
    Better than nothing.

    The aura needs to be turned into a toggle. Can that really be so difficult?


    I forsee all manner of issues arising from this suppression for someone wearing a mabar cloak and having the invisibility guard go off.

    I think i like it better their way... that way I don't have to remember to turn it back on.

    I just logged on to lamannia to test this new feature with the epic cloak of night. Every time invis guard goes off The mobs in your aura lose the menacing debuff!!! And as we all know it goes off like crazy!

    Invisibility turning off our aura is a good thing but not when you do not want it off.

    Yeah this may become a problem for some players. The aura is sweet for evokers and any others in the party with you. The cloak is also a pretty amazing item with a ton of good effects. We who have it will have to make a sacrifice when wearing it. Either lose your aura every other hit or take it off and keep aura...

    I Agree with you full heartedly though. It would be so much better being able to just turn it off. Levelling up a fvs and taking the prestige early on can become a drag the way it is on live. At least invisibility will help us in this aspect and other aspects of the game. Players have had issues in the past with the cloak of nights invis guard making mobs do strange things. I guess we can add another strange thing to that list of the downfalls of invisibility guard...

    There are other times when you just want it off period, like Bastion Of Power. That quest goes from merely annoying to makes-me-want-to-pull-out-my-own-fingernails horrible with the aura thoughtfully providing constant red dungeon alert as it aggros everything through the walls, floor, and ceiling.

    Try doing Claw of Vulkoor where even if you stealth perfectly, your aura aggros stuff the instant you hit a switch/door panel since your sneak/invis just got broken.

    I think it's stupid that the aura draws aggro on it's own in the first place.
    It's an Aura of Menace, not an Aura of Please Come Kill Me.
    When you see a menacing dog, do you feel like kicking it or do you leave it alone?

    Exactly!

    there are many many reasons why I would not want this aura on when I am not in sneak mode! Yes. they are related to stealth. But stealth tactics are not only used when actually Invised on "in" sneak mode!

    Toggle please.

    yeah, kind of agree. never should have been a purely automatic function.
    would even eat a 1sp/minute cost while its active to buy the toggle option.
    also a way to dispel the shoulder cannon to a lesser extent or at least put it on passive for a while. i don't even have to combat things to get it firing away at them. aura hits target+ target takes damage from any source= shoulder laser starts firing. most noticeable in running with the devils. the devils on the other side of the stalctite barriers in the long hall are fighting eladrin. i can't reach them or hit them. laser starts blazing away. suddenly devils port through the barrier to me. this is another bug report not responded to. really think they have interns sorting those reports and they never get to a dev.

    Really? I just run that earlier today farming for mats and never noticed that happening. Might be I rushed it too fast or something.

    Sorry to say, but another not good solution by Devs...
    Aura of manace turned off automatically when invisible or sneaking is an error!!! Better than nothing but...

    Example 1
    Claw of Vulkoor: Problem is a bit mitigated, but not the solution when You have to open doors or pull levers...

    Example 2
    Cloack of Mabar event: This solution is a kick in lower parts for those that crafted it (I like to remember it is BTC and required a bit of time investment in crafting it along with a nice lag challenging quest). I use it and I find it wonderfull for a fvs because it allows to remain invisible while casting, debuffing with aura, healing, dpsing. Now the support role is in discussion as it deactivates exactly when You don't want (in the middle of a close quarter fight). I think I'll put in waste if this change will go live (and it will do.). Ty Turbine for another crafting change and efforts wasted...

    Example 3
    Didn't You consider all cases that sometimes a fvs should like to remain invisible but still able to use debuffing aura?

    A toggle on/off was a better solution as asked by community, but probably only a massive tread like that about "crafting" (after You invested tons of hours programming it) is able to hit your hearts...

    I continue to don't understand Your policy about changing, changing AND STILL CHANGING with a lots of efforts in doing it and then after a year change it again, rechange as all the times din't work as intended... instead of adding new content...

    You can mitigate it with Diplomacy - y 'know, I'm dangerous, but cool at the same time.
