    Default Do you say "pohlice", "poolice" or "pellice"? and why?

    How do you guys pronounce the word police?

    Do you say it
    1) pohlice as in i am a pohliceman;
    2) poolice as in watch out it is de poolice; or
    3) pellice as in run! the pellice are coming!
    and why do you think you pronounce it that way?

    cos im hanging around in game wondering if we had some police it might be fun to chase the rogues around.

    What could the rogues get/lose if they escape/get caught?

    Doughnuts?

    Would those become the new DDO currency among rogues? Would they stun my rogue if he ate them?

    Tough question. It depends on your demographic, location, and up bringing. "Normally" its pO-lease. In the south, the "O" is drawn out and the "lice" is streached: "pOO-leese". Some say "please". Not sure where though, but i've heard this somewhere.

    Rogue's alignment can be lawful good too!

    I pronounce it "puh-lees," because that is the proper pronunciation.
