Not really a build, but a thought really. I'm thinking of building a 19Cleric/1Bard, but having played neither before would appreciate some advice.
First let me explain why 19/1 Cleric Bard. The Bard's there for max UMD, couple spell points from CHA, and the only Bard spell taken is Master's Touch. Bard would be 1st level. Cleric 19 is for, well just cause. It is an extra 9th level spell I believe. I'm not married to that 19th Cleric level though.
It'd be a human 32pt vet build and a set of +2 tomes at level 7. Stat wise it's looking like
14 STR
8 Dex
15 CON
10 INT
17 WIS +2tome +5 level +1 Human +3 Cleric Enhancement = 28 + Gear/Buffs
11 CHA +2 tome + 2 Cleric Enhancment + 1 Human = 16 + Gear/Buffs
I guess a second level of Bard could give me Bard enhancement to CHA letting me move the Human Enhancement to CON.
Skills are easy: Maxed UMD, 22 ranks in Concentration (to get an even on Balance), rest in Balance.
Feats look like: Toughness, SF UMD, Empower Healing, Maximize, Quicken, Spell Focus Evo, Greater Spell Focus Evo, and Spell Pen.
My issue is the enhancements though. I like the idea of Wand and Scroll Mastery. I like Human Versatility, but really it's only for UMD at this point. Improved Recovery is nice, but it's a healer. Cleric WIS III, Cleric CHA II, Human WIS and CHA.
Aside from that. Life Magic maxed I think. Smiting Maxed too? How about the Prayers? Anything obvious I'm not seeing as why this would fail?
