    Any thoughts on going 8 Monk (Dark) instead? It gets you 1d10 fists (up to 2d8 with past life and either Equilibrium or Jidz/Earth stance), plus Improved Recovery II, Fists of Darkness (2d10 and 1d50 on vorp) and Shadow Fade. You'll lose 3 feats and some Fighter enhancements (action boost, Weap Spec II and Kensei III for the +1 crit multi) and some HPs, but I think the 12/8 split might come out ahead in terms of damage and damage mitigation.

    I've been toying with Fighter/Monk splits for my TR and go back and forth between 12/8 and 18/2 (or 12/6/2).
