    Why Cleric Dil? By end game you'll be able to UMD things without issue. You could dump Wis and add those points to CHA. I would say Fighter (all martial weapons, +1 str) or Barb (extra con) would be a better choice. Or if you are set on a healer one, you could go with FVS based on CHA. Again the game uses UMD OR Dil for scrolls. So if your UMD gets higher than the Dil, the Dil becomes wasted (feat and skill points).

    IMO Human is the best overall as you would get the extra feat and skill points. That would allow you to fit in Extend (I love extend on bards). You could still use Masters Touch to equip the weapons until WC2 (and after but WC2 picking 1 makes it easier). You could pretty much do everything you want as your HElf but be better at it as a human.

    If u're planning to use a +2 tome u just need to start with 12 int
    14 (+ item, ship etc) are more then enough to disable trap
    So u can spend that point somewhere else
    Another point in cons (suggestion ) should be good

    Why would a bard dump Cha??? Wouldn't you do more damage by actually being able to Hold mobs?

    I'm considering Tring as a Helf 2~Rogue/18~Bard taking either the Pali dilly for the Cha to saves (up to +5), or the Barb dilly for the Con/toughness enhancement (and extra 50 hp when combined with human Con, and the 3rd tier of human toughness)

    and Insightful Reflexes seems like a waste of a feat just for 3 extra points

    Default Tx for the feedback so far ..

    Good Point re changing WIS to 10 and upping CHA to 14. Taking FvS dil makes sense - realised this about 5 min after I posted the original.

    I really like to idea of scrolling Heal at 95% at lvl 15 without all the huha of gearing up for 40+ UMD.

    INT for more skills to flesh out rogue capacity. Evasion needs as high save as possible to really make most of evasion = insightful reflex allows some synergy.

    Another point into Con at best would leave me with 19 base (modified at lvl 20). I could bump that up to 20 but would have to reduce STR base to 23. I think given the self-healing integrated into this build, going for higher STR is more effective and gives me a better overall performance.
    ~ Id be interested to hear some good debate re the CON vs STR issue above.~

    I will respec AP to choose either great sword or great axe once I get CWII.

    Tx - I normally only play dwarf so this race/class combo is a bit newb for me

    I'm not too impressed with his personal DPS performance, but it's an OK build. Unless Warchanter III comes out, I wouldn't roll such a build again. (16/2/2 is way more attractive, imho.)

    My bard16/fighter2/rogue2 has a 40 reflex save at cap... mainly due to paladin dily.


    And I'm not sure why you think its hard getting a 40 umd late in game... the most I ever worry about is making sure I cast GH on myself; 40umd on a bard is EASY.

    Also... get extend. You are a bard. Bards are about buffs. Get extend.

    PS: you dont need insightful reflexes OR quicken imo either.
