To AC or not to AC

Currently I've a standing 45 at level 20 with my various gear options. Standing, No buffs, just...hangin out in town away from paladins.


What number do I need to hit to even BOTHER with AC? Because we all know that in elite content, having 45 ac is just as good as having 0.

I just need to know so I can see if I want to change my DT armor to instead of having various bonuses to AC, to have some other stuff that might be more useful.

Or am I close enough to a decent AC that if I just give myself some buffs I can hit a respectable number

95 to boss tank, 85(?) for trash or don't bother.

50 in normal Vale, 70 for normal amrath. 70+ for normal raid bosses. Above 90 for elite Horoth.

Okay! time to re-do my DT armor :3

A shame I made my greensteel weapon with +4 ac on it, but I suppose Bursts arent really THAT much damage.

Lets see... Resistance+5, Maybe a stat+6, Destruction. Yea, that sounds good. Thanks guys
