    Default Pure Fighter THF Build

    Build I put together after some forum research which will be used to duo with battle cleric. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome! We are both F2P with 28 pt builds atm. Hoping it can take the damage for us and dish out plenty as well.

    Personally, I would try to move all fighter feats into the fighter bonus feat slots. Then stack as many Toughness feats as possible into the normal feat slots. This lets you save AP on toughness upgrades (you probably wont want more than racial toughess 1 and figher toughness 1). The Sap and Quick Draw feats are also very questionable.

    I would drop the fighter strength 3 enchancement as it costs 6 AP and you end up with an odd strength score. The AP saved from strength and toughness could get you some more damage if you like (such as haste boost 4 and extra action boosts). Or you could put them into fighter strategies.

    I think the intimidate feat might be better than bullheaded. However, with Intimi I think go all the way or not at all (both feats + enchacements or nothing).

    The +2 tome gives you +2 to de AC, but full plate armour is capped at +1. Either take the enhancement or drop the dex.

    Are you sure you want to go human and falchion? If you want a pure 2H fighter with strategies then dwarf greataxe would get more out of it. You would have more health, slightly more damage and an improved chance to land your strategies.

    The human choice was mainly for the heal amp, but if its easy to acquire through gear or unneccessary I've no problem switching to dwarf. The idea was to not to be too much of a mana sponge. Drop the dex tome and drop starting dex to 8 or is 10 a good number to start? Starting ability points are something I'm not 100% on beyond if you want a THF build to max str.

    I will change the feats up as suggested, and the enhancements as well. Wasn't really sure how much toughness and str are necessary or what a good amount of str is to shoot for, does it not help you beyond a certain point?

    Sap was there to possibly help us with cc in a pinch but upon retrospect a THF cleaving character won't get much use out of it. As for quick draw I was under the impression it increases the speed you cast action boosts? Correct me if I'm wrong.

    The human heal amp is good, so I guess that is a personal choice.

    As for str, you want an even number (after gear etc). Every 2 points gives you +1 attack and damage. One point of strength only affects the weight you can carry (so 28 str is effectively the same as 29).

    You want to end up with 12 dex after tomes and gear. 12 dex gives +1AC. 14 dex gives +2 AC, etc. Full plate armour is capped at a +1 AP bonus. You can increase this with fighter or dwarf enhacements. With a human fighter, it would cost 2 AP to raise the full plate bonus from +1 to +2 (14 dex), or 6 AP to raise it from +1 to +3. So either end up with 12 dex, or end up with 14 dex and spend the 2 AP.

    To be honest I dont know about quick draw and action boosts.
