WHAT If....?

I was just checking this out and looking at the descrip I realized I dont think I have ever heard of any mention of this race anywhere else. AFAIK we have not actually seen one BUT in Player's Guide to Eberron/Secrets of Xendrik placed them in Xen'drik. Most Thri-keen are nomadic and live in the desert of Menechtarun.

WHAT IF.....

They made Thri-Keen a playable race? Would you play one?

Nomads in the desert sound pretty much their original description from the old MMII.
There would be no permanent community and they'll go largely hidden by their camouflage.
(if you stir the nest there would be trouble)

The Thriks got much more popular since their listing as playable race in the psionics book.
The description remains the same. Most would be rangers and druids, so yep, no druids no thri-kreen.

Would obviously play one just for the multiattack, or for any twf advantages they would get in DDO.
It is however a dex based race, likely suited for ranger and monk, and as things are now i'd stick to str builds.

Still, whereas the Stormreach Patrons have been allowing goblinoids and kobolds into the city i doubt they'll want such an alien adventurer within the walls. Let alone going before all the kobolds, gnomes, kalashtar, changelings and shifters that are already standing in line to enter.
