    Default Changed TWF mechanics

So I have noticed that since I last played a few months ago, TWF has changed to a percentage chance.

Do already established characters get to re-spec, or is my level 20 assassin with greensteel weapons now useless when I log in

Yeah, the Great TWF Nerf (tm) happened a couple of updates back (7, I think? anyway...) and off-hand attacks were changed to a % chance on every main-hand attack instead of a guaranteed attack in your attack chain. The reason given for the change was to reduce lag, and despite the howls of outrage on the forums, the consensus is that it seems to have worked.

Your L20 rogue has the whole TWF chain, right? Each feat increases the chance for the off-hand proc, so I doubt he's useless. (unless he was useless before, in which case he's likely just as useless now ^_^) In any event, I have seen (almost) no one advocating anything other than the TWF khopesh route for rogues, so I imagine you'll be fine.

If you do respec, the Tempest PRE and the monk's Wind stance will both increase your number of attacks, but I doubt many people would feel the loss of Sneak Attack damage would be worth it.

    Oh, and welcome back!

I believe my rogue only has up to "Improved Two Weapon Fighting" Im not sure if I took greater. That likely means that I have only a 60% chance to strike with my offhand.

Thats not great...not BAD, but not what I'd want. If I have greater, thats 80% and still better, but I suppose this is a good reason to True Rez my Rogue.

I am NOT re-making a rogue from scratch and losing my greensteel weapon >.>

Ill know in a few minutes, 95% done downloading

By any chance *Hopeful smile* was any boost given to Ranged attacks like bows to make them a more viable weapon choice?
