I ended up taking two Encrusted rings on my Bard for 20th and 40th. At least let me put +2 CON on one and +20% healing amp on the other, and swap as needed.

Currently, I'd need to hit the bank every time I wanted to swap, so I don't bother, and so an un-upgraded Encrusted ring sits in my bank.

Also, it encourages you to screw others by taking a ring you already have that they need.

I can see people doing both if they're readily avaiable - in particular, being able to swap 2 con/20 amp on ytour 2nd ring would be excellent for a lot of builds.

Drop rates could do with some fiddling. Many monks do the raid ALOT to try and get a kyosho's or oremis or encrusted..... there is one monk I know who's done it 80 times with no success! Me, I'm only up to 17, and if I pull it before he does, I will definetely rub his face in it.
