    Default Build request - Drow 18/2 Wiz/Rog PM

    Does anyone have a good build (or link to one) for a drow 18/2 wiz/rogue PM? I have no experience in wizards (or casters in general), so as much detail as possible (including stats, skill point/enhancement/feat allocation, etc) would be greatly appreciated.

    OK, some comments:

    • There's a bit of wiggle room with feats. I took SF & GSF Enchantment to take advantage of the +2 to Enchant DCs from vampire form. But you could take them in another school if you prefer; or take Spell Penetration & GSP to boost your Necro instakill spells.
    • I would definitely take Empower, Maximize, Heighten, and Quicken, but the exact order is up to you; it depends on whether DPS, DCs, or casting speed is more important at any given time while leveling. And you might want to delay SF & GSF Enchant to take some of them sooner. But before rearranging feats, just remember that GSF & GSP are not wizard bonus feats; you have to take them as regular feats.
    • When to take rogue 2 is up to you, but most recommend waiting until after wiz 7 to get lvl 4 spells first (esp. firewall & Stoneskin); you also get an extra skill pt or 2 from your higher INT if you want until lvl 8 or later. So I usually aim to take rogue 2 at the mid-point (lvls 9-11).
    • If you don't have a +2 INT tome, drop the extra pts from Diplomacy. You could also put them into Haggle or Spot if you prefer.
    • An elf version of this build would have -1 DC from -2 INT, but could take the elven Arcanum line for +4 Spell Pen (and extra SPs). I honestly couldn't tell you which is more important, though.
