I don't have UMD on my 12 Fighter/6 Monk/2 Ranger, so I have to cycle through 14 Shield goggle clickies when I'm tanking.

You can get Shield Wands that last for 10+ minutes.

This. I loved being a blitz, but the 2 ranger lvls is just sexyness.

After 14 (actually I have no idea how many, but it was a bunch) re-rolls and runs up to level 6ish, and 3 complete lives, arrael has always had ranger, and she had rogue for all 3 lives. My next life is actually intriguing to me because I'll be busting out the marilith chain and not the icy and won't have evasion on her.

Smrti is a warforge atm with the build. After you hit about 600 HP, evasion is just icing, and not that much.

I'm at 599, 619 with Airship buff 719 rage and double madstoned, 209% amp with airship.

I have everything I need, but epic gear (and a nice sov ruin for my dt) and some extra variety in the ToD department. I'm not absolute top of the line dps, but I'm probably above to well above average. I just need to get my strength up, and the most effective way is to go 6 barb for rage.

I'm at a nice 659 standing around (missing some gear still).

I'm in the middle of a build write-up atm, so when I finish it, I'll link it to you.

This is not a bad build per se, but it's also not a max DPS "built for endgame" build, either. For one thing, Tempest I doesn't add nearly as much DPS as it used to, unfortunately; barb 6 is the new hawtness in that regard now. Rgr 6 still has a lot going for it (bow feats, skill pts, lvl 1 spells, 2 FEs, etc.), but don't do it just for Tempest - it isn't worth it anymore. I would also skip the trapsmithing; you don't have enough skill pts w/INT 10 and UMD plus maybe Intim is more useful in the long run, IMHO. Some of your feats could use some tweaking too.

Here's my build, which was also my take on the ubiquitous Drizz't clones:

    Code:

Better at running into the room, getting into attack animation, and staying in attack animation to produce a slightly larger number of damage per second.

Blizt also relies on a confirmed not working as intended game mechanic which likely will be fixed, where this build already had its hayday and got nerfed.

I thought Nick actually prefers and recommends the pally past life feat over the barb one.

if you've seen a well-built and well-played blitz in action you wouldn't say that. it's extremely effective.

The barb PL bug won't nerf this to much once it's fixed.

Level 5 shield wands last 5 minutes. Level 10 shield wands last 10 minutes.
