From what I can gather from reading the forums and my own situation trying to buy VIP (which worked multiple times in the past but not since the recent turbine billing changes)

1) Overseas Credit cards like from Australia get a 30005 error (as I do).
2) Turbine direct you to ring them in the US and try and sort it out OR
3) Turbine suggest using PaybyCash
4) Turbine seems uninterested in actually fixing the problem. (they do not care their customers cant pay them)

Does buying a $30 game card on PaybyCash allow you to access the discounted rate 33% off as if you were buying via credit card for just under $30. If not, it would appear the policy above is a penalty on foreign customers to use this as your VIP costs are way higher than US customers who can just use their credit cards.

As a customer of both DDO and LOTRO over the years it would seem I am now being penalized whereas blizzard , Trion , SOE and others will take my credit cards online without any hassle or penalty prices such as buying GTC.

Great business acumen there.
