Post Faster Animations for Guild Potions vs. Standard Potions

I was hanging with a good friend of mine in game "Zyndar" and he brought up the topic of drinking a "Guild" Remove Curse Potion vs. a "Standard" remove curse potion usage speed.

Apparently these differences are a result of the different usage animations where the guild potion uses a "Drinking" motion, where as the standard potion uses a "Casting" motion.

So, this is apparently why you can use all the Guild potions on yourself when "Madstone" Raged and none of the standard potions that involve casting animations.

Not only that, the Guild potions are significantly faster.

I see these guild potions as potentially a life saving must have for anyone running content where you are getting frequently cursed and need to get rid of those curses quickly.

Granted, the use of guild potions for getting rid of VOD curses is common knowledge.
I'm not trying to present that point as though it were a new thing.

I'm just finding these guild potions with their faster usage time, vastly superior as a whole for personal usage.

I have everything relevant in guild form but on the other hand, I've found I've had to also get a stack of non-guild Lesser Restoration potions and Neutralize Poison potions, for my hireling clerics. Lesser Restorations in case they get so stat damaged they can't move or act, and Neutralize Poison in case they might soon get spammed with Cloudkill.

I was so happy with the non-casting guild versions I forgot that the casting ones might actually still be useful, until I heard that instructful "ding."

I agree if you want be able to use potions on other players or hirelings you are probably better off carrying the general potions.

However, I personally like to have a stack of the Guild Remove Curse, Guild Neutralize Poison, Guild Rage, and Guild Lesser Restoration pots to remove any unwanted effects when under the influence of Madstone Rage.
As a melee class player I feel I can find the inventory room for most of these 4 types of potions.
