Default Don't look a gift buff in the mouth

    Here we go again...

Part 5 of shroud, buffing time. I'm on a FVS, passing out fire and FOM where needed.
Barbarian asks for poison. I don't have the spell on this particular character (on FVS's, it's 50/50 for me).
Do I get snarky and say "drink a pot"? -- heck no, that would be rude, I wand the guy without hesitation and give him neutralize poison.

He complains in party chat: 7 minute poison? that's it?

So, to that ungrateful barb out there who probably has never played a divine before -- the next time someone gives you a buff you could have easily covered yourself, don't b__ch about it. If you don't like it, shut up and drink a potion, or get an item.

And people wonder why divines get grumpy...

    Yeah thats insane....and so rude!

Also, does he seriously think that 7 mins isn't enough time to finish part 5?

    Default Been there seen that

As most of my toons are healers or casters I've seen this dumb **** before. My response has always been " I'm a healer, not a pharmacy. Get pots.

To be fair, sometimes swingers forget that they ran out of pots, as do I on occasion. But for him to moan about the duration....

Tell him to pour a tall frosty mug of shut the fack up.

i'm too cheap to drink pots.

    i use a clicky :P

(and have also on occasion provided poison immunity buff to others from it).

but honestly, what kind of lame barbarian is he that he doesn't save against it 95% of the time and get it cleared by the incoming mass heal the other 5% of the time before it can even make a noticeable difference?

7 minutes is usually 5 minutes more than is needed for pt5 of the shroud... Really, I rarely use more than 1 or 2 clicks of anything... so pathetic....

Greater dispell for the win in cases like these...

    This.

Best use of dispel that I can think of.
Devs: Thanks for making Druids available to VIPs without the pack. This more than anything, has made me want to buy the pack.

I just realized I should probably keep greater dispel prepared and get rid of something else to make room for cometfall, dammit

    2 words: Greater Dispel.

Edit: Oh nvm, people said it already.

people actually carry poison neutralization as a spell still?

i ran out of pots on my melee a few weeks ago and was getting really annoyed with the trog's stank...so i asked the ranger lol.

but seriously, if a 7 minute pot cant be bothered to be purchased, you are on your own...and if you whine then i hope you planned on completing.

I like to cast bubble head on whiners and let everyone get a good laugh at them.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If I found a genie who wanted to give me three wishes, the first wish would be for the ability to bubblehead people in RL who say dumb ****.

Just be brave and go without it. That mass heal will come eventually.. ..I think.

The best is when the complainers get yelled at (I splurge every now and again) and they always come back with the 'I just started playing, quit being mean' bit....

    a) ask where his potions are
    b) ask why his fortitude saves are so low
    c) inform him that heal & heal mass get rid of poison
    d) ask him why he's expecting part 5 to last more than 7 minutes

I love to use my amrath belt on people like this...you know the one with special buffs. Its awsome when that one extra special buff shows up. Preferably if they are in an awkward spot when it lands.
