Default Dragonmarked longsword kensei ninja hunter of the dead

My latest plan to abuse the combination of displacement and ninja fade; anything obvious I am missing?

Do you need the fighter feat for fighter 8?

7fighter/6pally/7monk would get you an extra +10% monk healing amp & wholeness of body for a bit of self healing & offset your HP

the elf greater dm kinda sucks. You might want to take extend instead. Use it on the pally divine favor as well as the displacement dragonmarks. You could drop twd if you go 7/6/7 as suggested above

    Ghallanda: Neatoelf15wiz/1rgr, Neetoelf17wiz, NeatoManhuman13rog/6pal/1mnk, NeatoHombrehuman12ftr/6pal/2rog, Kneetoedwarf17clr, Kneedoughdrow18clr/2mnk

Minimize expectations and you'll never be disappointed

Hmm, yea, I don't need the extra feat, but was keeping AC as a back up option. I considered extend, but I never run out of DMs on the Malcontent build (also making the greater DM optional) and should have plenty of SP.

Wholeness of body is basically worthless end game, especially on a splash (simply doesn't heal enough).

I'm not going for healing amp at all; I have one of those, and what's the point? If you need the heals, you're getting chain-healed for more than your HP total anyway. IMO, grabbing a toughness feat is more useful, and I may do that.

The other thing is why 7 fighter? You don't get anything. The only reason I went 8 fighter was for the extra feat, that I don't really need, but 7/8 paladin and 7/8 monk don't offer anything I want, either

8 monk gives unarmed step (not using), wholeness of body (not using), healing amp (meh); 8 paladin gives 2nd level spell (is angelskin at at useful endgame?); 8 fighter gives a feat.

I'm almost convinced to drop GDM and TWD for 2 more toughnesses

I've planned out a similar build, I have a 12pal/7monk/1rog Solar PHoenix that this would make a fun TR build to use.. Was just curious why you went 6pal/HoTD instead of say 12ftr/6monk/2pal. ? Better self-healing?

it's not really a matter of running out of mana, as it is the annoyance factor with having to constantly refresh short term buffs such as divine favor, especially during long drawn out fights. With displacement DMs it gives you double the duration with no sp cost. You get more displacement overall than with the greater dragonmark feat. You certainly have room for it..

Built in ghost touch and fear immunity, mainly.

No, I know how they work; it might be worth it just to pull the GDM for extend.

7 Fighter gets you Haste Boost III, which you'll definitely want, and also Toughness III and Stunning Blow III. It's actually a nice level to aim for on Fighter.

Fair enough, although those are pretty low on my priority list, especially for a build that I'm not taking stunning blow on, but definitely solidifies my decision for 8 fighter
