This seems to happen to me every time I restart my computer...
I load up the ddo client, everything works fine, I type in my passwordm choose world, and up goes the first loading screen (the one with Velah on it). The first loading screen finishes, then takes me to the second one (the one with the WF in blue dragonscale docent), I get a glimpse of the loading screen, then the ddo client closes and says "Connection failed: There was an error with this connection." Any idea why? :\

Can you post your DXDiag report?
Also, can you post what your internet connection is like? Is it wired or wireless? Is it a home connection, or a dorm/apartment connection?

I honestly have no clue, for some reason it just randomly started working again... no idea why. I didn't do anything. o.O
