Default How do I open gate in Devils Battlefield?

Middle portion of Devils Battlefield is a fort of sorts. In northwestern portion is a rest shrine with a bridge above it. If you get onto the bridge, you are facing the gate into that fort. How do I open it?

There's a lever on the other side you have to pull. Pulling the lever to open the gate also happens to "trigger" your explorer for that area.

If you look to the left of the gate from the side you're trying to get in from, there is an area where you can jump onto an outcropping, and jump over the wall.

climb over the wall... use the "gun" to the left of the gate to jump up onto the wall, then when on the other side, pull the lever in the middle of the courtyard.

Not as easy a it sounds as there is a WF titan knocking you down, and a massive devil fight... and sometimes a red named pit-fiend to fight...

An invis potion or clicky normally allows you enough time to at least pull the lever before things start going crazy.

Although the craziness is what makes the Battlefield fun and a mild challenge.

If you are soloing, why do you NEED to pull the lever? You are already on the other side.

Suppose you don't - but you don't get the XP, or the explorer completion, if you don't pull the lever. If you just want past to make the run to the Tower, then yeah, don't bother pulling it.

    You're welcome, btw.

The lever is used to trigger that explorer point.

If you want to take the long way, rather than try to make that jump, you head over toward Genesis Point, go past it and to the right, and you'll have the cat rare in the spikes to the right of a ridge, and a horned devil to the left of the ridge. Follow that path around and you'll end up behind the gate as well.

Thank you -- I may try that!

Because you are an adventurer, and there is a lever, and the two cannot ignore each other. It's in our very genetic codes. Pull the lever...
