    Default Another /Rant. . .

Naming names would be useless because the practice is so prevalent, I've seen it from too many people to name. However, there's a huge difference between doing a Solo run and doing a Party run, where coordination and tactics are concerned. Kiting, whether it be by an Arcane, a Favored Soul or an Archer, works FAR less effectively in a full Party than it does while you're in a Solo run, but kiting them around while the Party's melee characters chase them is the same as casting Blur on every hostile mob you're kiting.

So true, if you'll just stop and block we'll kill it far faster than if we're chasing it. You run because the mobs can't hit you right? Well it also means we can't hit them.

For casters, the mob is not mad at the firewall it's mad at you for casting it, if you aren't standing in your firewall the mob won't either. You can take a hit or 3 while the bad guys roast. Yes I also play a sorc, I know how it works blocking in your FW works better than kiting 90% of the time.

I play an AA Ranger, I personally make LITTLE circles where there is enough room for melee to swing and hit.
Other than that I will stand and block with my bow (or other weapons).

personally on my wizard, i cast jump and have ff boots on. i jump up and down in my FW, basically halving melee damage while it dies quicker.

Always when I see bowman pewpewing and running from mobs, mobs chasing pewpewer and melees swinging and chasing mobs, Benny Hill tune is played in my mind.

Unfortunately, very often it has to be repeated :/

I don't swing at the mobs being kited by AAs. I move on to the next unagro'd target and let nature take its course. It is like when a wolf brings down a sick bison. It improves the herd.

You seem like me a few months ago. Just a streak of tards to run with. It will get better I promise. Dymand and a few others told me that when I kept ranting on here. They were right. So I'll pass it on to you. Keep your chin up and get thru it. You'll bena better person for it. (Eric btw had to steal her account for a minute as I'm having loading issues).

You have the option to not chase and move on, letting the kiter kill the mob. Additionally, you could stand in such a manner, in concert with the other melees in the group, that prevents the mob from chasing the kiter. Just a couple of suggestions.

My policy - you aggro it, you kill it.
