However, you should know that the crafted damage effects are not actually being applied. I just made some +4 Holy handwraps of Evil Outsider Bane with a shocking gem in a medium guild augment slot, and the shocking is the only effect being applied. It doesn't appear that the +4 enhancement is being applied to hit or damage either. To call that discovery disappointing would be an understatement of the highest degree.

Yeah, I was equipping and unequipping, turning Power Attack on and off, using a GH clickie, etc. and was getting all sorts of funky results. I am somewhat sad now. I was really looking forward to a Shroud run tonight with my guildies.

As I understand it there are at least two bugs currently going on with wraps.

One is that crafted wraps had all of their effects negated (they can be crafted, just wont be applied when you attack) a few weeks ago to block a bug where effects kept being applied if you switched between crafted wraps. By doing this you could output massive lag-inducing damage per swing.

The other bug is for all wraps (I think this is true) where the + to damage and attack are not being properly applied when you switch between wraps. The solution here is that the proper bonuses can be activated by adding an effect or an item that boosts attack and damage. I use divine favor (can be cast from a spell or clicky) to quickly get both back.

My testing with the crafted wraps showed that casting divine favor did not fix the wrap-swapping bug, so I assume that +enchantments aren't being applied to crafted wraps under any circumstances.

Not anymore, the hot fix that went in a few days ago fixed that. Im not seeing it anymore. AFAIK it is only the crafted wraps that are buggered at this point.

Seeing as crafted wraps are bugged I guess i will stop my grind for Silver Handwraps.

I love how Monks/handwraps keep getting the short end with crafting.
