Level for Silver Weapon

I know silver weapons are useful, but at what point are they useful? I've seen that they're necessary for end game against demons/devils but at what point before then would I need one? Also, is there ever a point where a non-good aligned silver weapon is useful?

Obviously with the crafting system they're always useful but I'm concerned about when and for what I should have them.

Silver is useful at mid levels for one vampire I can think of.

Generally though there isn't a lot of call for silver/pg or silver/holy until you hit devil territory.

An OLD gear-check was having enough to-hit with a Silver weapon to fight the Vampire at the end of The Church and the Cult.

There are also vampires in the Bloody Crypt, Shadow Crypt, Cursed Crypt, Orchard of the Macabre (and Desecrated Temple of Vol and Litany of the Dead), and the Eerie Forest. Most of these are currently just blasted with fire spells and heals in groups.

The vampires used to be the first gear check (and cries).

You can use devil beaters in chronoscope as early as level 4.
Not really needed but worth having if you'll run it often.
