The main reason to have an ac chararacter is for farming and doing stuff without using 1 potion to heal, why would you need to worry about horoths disenagrate he never does it to me when im ever tanking for some odd reason though people worry that your gonna fail a save.... yet when u have high saves what are chances of fail? 1 of 100 -_- 88 ac is very nice to have unbuffed but your hitting is somewhat very low id say switch out some feats and take wep finese and do all the twf and start using the epic nat gann staff or even handwraps or any wep finese your able to use im sure that will boost your to hit to 50 or even 60 remember if you have madstone titan grip or blood rage item they all help your con and str id suggest to get a blood rage so u gain 80 hp and madstone so you gain another 80 hp and then you will see your hit bonus and your str reaching in the 50's but i hope you know its a buff so that you cant heal your self and rely on healers. but who cares having that ac its helps solo almost anything and remember cast tenser boosts your bab and gives 4 natural ac even though you get it from yugo potions.. Just remember not to use the dex yugo potion or you will have gimped attack
now all u do is need to get wep finese and more dex feat like twf and then start using handwraps or any dex item that will boost your attack since 35 is a little low and makin u take off power attack makes your dps do glacing blows and not being able to get full hits. so i wonder if you'll choose epic staff of nat gann i heard its good when u have 40 dex
exactly and i dont think horoth does disengrate alot like spaming it. so then how will it hurt u. and remember there is a healer so!?!? i dont see a real fail on a save. more fails in umd rolling though i rolled like 10 1's which ticked me off and i had to buy new scrolls -_-
As he is in the screenshot hp wise failing the save vs disintegrate will kill him.
With more hp itll REALLY stress the healers as he'll have badges and stuff on him when it happens.
To OP: I know you're not gonna tr him again, but would going 1 rogue at first level over 1 fighter for the extra 1d6 sneak, keep the haste boost, losing 1 point bab and gaining full umd be worth it to you?

It has happened to me before where I failed a disintegrate on a 1 on my ac tank. On average i fail on a 1 with a disintegrate every 6 or so elite tower runs. You must be lucky. In regards to your farming with one pot I have no idea why you would chose to farm with this sort of character when you can farm with a spell caster. I assume you mean farming epics, but I am sorry having trouble reading the rest of what you wrote because the only thing I farm right now is epics and see no point in farming any lower level content. Blood rage effects attack speed, titan grip is only 3 1 min clickies, and madstone you have to swap off your boots. With a 92-93 ac on elite tower you can get hit only on a 20 and in what situation in ddo do you need a higher ac? I really am not aware of a situation so anything beyond a 93 ac (counting IH and self buffs) seems like a waste.

what i meant in farming is epics and vale quests, yes a caster can solo it but why would u waste potions rather than use melee and ac skills to do it more easily and + every time i try to solo it with a caster i run out of potions and other stuff. the only thing difference with me and you is that i havent been able to get in one tod elite run seems it hard for a person trying to pug an elite to tell if everyone is geared. so yet i have still to run a tod elite but eventually i will be able to. i should've stayed with my original guild and then i would been able to do it but oh well the purpose why i quit was both accidental and they called be a noob for them lossing renown since i had a million and i didnt quit on bad terms and it end up lossing them a high number. but yet do will i ever find a guild who does elite tod runs
I have a question about your build:
Why light Monk? For Smites? Pally levels gives you divine sacrifice which is awesome. I've never played shintao monk but I have played dark path and I can tell you basicallt permanent 25% incorporeal is INSANE and AWESOME. Especially on a build that you're trying to make "unhittable". It's like having 500AC 25% of the time. No boss that I know has Ghost touch attacks.
I can't understand why any tank build with a monk splash would go Shintao if you can get 6levels of monk for Ninja Spy. Also, dodge is required which isn't a wasted feat.
good at business
Shintao = more intim, and you really didnt need to say you have never made a shintao, that much was apparent. The smites are awesome, and being able to heal for bits and pieces with every punch is as well. 'specially when you are 2 to 3x striking every hit. Also if tanks are there, then sweet, i get the lazy job and just spam the anti stun. Havent met a dark monk yet who can do it. And besides DPS comes 2ND to surviving and holding aggro in the build. ( yes, you can hold aggro just fine even if someone is doin more dps ) Thought i made that clear, apparently not clear enough. Why the hell would i need some kinda incorrpereal nonsense when i got ac enough to be missed on everythin but 20? Dark monk- DPS. This build - Off tank that can survive, tank, and solo ALMOST anything. Big diff.
Different strokes I guess. My monk has been both light and dark. I prefer dark. ToD, 3d6 sneak attack dmg, 25% extra miss chance (which even effects the boss when he rolls a 20) the stuns, Dr breaking, and smites were pretty cool, but FoL got nerfed far too much for my tastes I guess.
