Both Vissarion and Zyxas' Build recommendations will work fine. You will enjoy playing either of those builds. Qualify for and take Shintao 3 PrE. Your UA attacks are Silver at the third tier so any Holy/HBurst or Pure Good or Righteousness on Handwrap will break DR and get you through to cap and no farming/grinding quests for DR breaking wraps = more time to get to 20 and TR which seems like your intention from original post.

The Sora Katra Set (upgraded or not) is more than adequate to get you to 20. The Garments of Equilibrium and Stonedust Handwraps are pretty sweet too.

These things are relatively easy to get and a light monks AOE Heal Burst benefits from the 40% set bonus Sora Katra gives. AND the +2 to hit and +2 damage is sweet for any character. The only drawback to the set is it uses a head slot and some folks like to wear the Minos Legens there. Also gives a Charisma Enh Bonus on Katra's Wit ring which can be usefull...

These things will really help moving through Sands/GH/Orchard

I wear the upgraded level 13 versions on a couple of my level 18-20 toons. /shrug

It's also pretty encouraging in your second life to know that you have a set of Dragon Touched robes sitting in bank. So before TR, gettin that done has been a goal for each of my characters.

House p quests are a joke on epic. I'm talking about tod and epic chrono. *** is a low str dex monk gonna do? You'll be tickling horoth.

If you manage to get a pair of +5 icyburst or holyburst wraps, or any of the tod rings youl be pretty good at horoths (you can keep up even without those). Btw hes planning on building a light monk . From my experience ->any time i tried to join a tod run & stated i was a light monk i had a place reserved for myself. Il say a couple of times it even happened that a place became free for me after i answered a simple question with yes im using all my buffs ,no worrys you wont be stunned. I mean those 60 secs buffs make a huge difference in the long run & dont forget the 10 sec moment of clarity buff which i havent seen beeng used from any other monk so i was wondering if i was the only light monk for a longg time. I dont understand but is a +10 insight to atack & damage useless or what? Hmm think il make a thread about this.
