Default Eight FvS walk into a Shroud

Eight FvS + bard, barb, cleric, sorc.

Can definitely be done faster, first run through we went pot light on part one. Also missing some other strong FvS that make Khyber home. So next time minutes will be shaved off.

Nice one Dark. Quick time too, considering.

What I *really* want to know is how you've moved your Health bars of the raid party like that?

Next time you're in a group, put your mouse cursor over the top edge of the party bars. Then, click and drag.

Precisely DP does rule and will undoubtedly be nerfed given time. One thing to remember is the Shroud Speed is so much about lag management and Divine Punishment is so perfect because it does so much dps but contributes so little to lag. We had very little lag due to not having massive melee damage on the portals which helped in this. This was a haphazard run thrown together by myself. We did a poor job on part one because we had forgotten the split groups strategy that we used in the past on record attempts and implemented it poorly. We had to fill some slots at the last minute because we had some no shows so ended up with a barbarian which may or may not be a good thing. Coinoperated humorously joked at one point that he did not get any heals despite 9 healers. Coinoperated with 9 healers 1 bard and 1 sorc is some barbarians dream party.

I would be surprised if more then 1 or 2 radiance 5 clickies were crafted on the various player's FVS/clerics which is another 25% dps right there for a certain amount of quest time. I think in general people were unsure of how best to play an FVS in this sort of scenario the mantra was make sure to cast DP over and over, but beyond that everything was left up to the discretion of the players themselves. There was speculation at the end of the run that actually using spell dps in addition to DP is better dps then melee dps with divine punishment assuming pot usage. What I mean by that is spamming searing lights and cometfalls and dp on the portals and drinking pots.

The take home point for this is DP is ridiculously overpowered. Since it works on everything, has no save and does significant damage regardless of whatever else the FVS does its the I win button. I might add that a FVS with 10 true reincarnations and all the gear in the book casts dp as well as a brand new FVS who just has a radiance 5 clicky.

Coin and I tested this the other day to see how well it stacked, but we hadn't yet got around to organising a fvs only/mostly super speed run.

Most of our attempts so far most of the time much of the time was wasted in part 1. I figure spliting into maybe 3 groups and trying to minimize the time running.

I guess the race for a khyber sub-10 shroud is in the works.

This was the plan I took. Kirvan was made as an evoker (only around 20 STR) and picked up a bunch of the light damage enhancements when the Angel of Vengeance PrE went live: Smiting IV, Prayer of Smiting II, Prayer of Incredible Smiting II. Throw in a Skiver, an Eardweller and Maximize and Empower and I have been seeing some pretty fun numbers.

I had a few crit light spells hit Arraetrikos for over 1k with the highest being 1200+. Most hits were in the 300-600 range after I got three DPs stacked. I would cycle through Nimbus of Light, Searing Light, my free capstone and then reapply divine punishment.

Good times. I would definitely go again if you were to put this together.

If I were to roll Ailiae over again I would be very tempted to lean towards such. As is she requires more tweaking in balancing being thinned out half/half. I know from Heathier that casting prowess of the divine yeilds very well.

    Next time 11 FVS 1 bard . Or 10 FVS 1 sorc 1 bard.

Would help if everyone had Eardweller or Sup Brilliance VI clickies at the very least.

I assume everyone was standing next to harry for parts 4/5 to maxmize the -10% fort +20% alignment damage procs

Few max geared or near max fvs that you could take along next time if you need

You sometimes have to move the map orb out of the way to be able to grab the top edge. There are a lot of default game interface objects that have invisible borders, that will stop you from grabbing something underneath it.

You can also get around this by clicking on the bgroup of health bars in the middle somewhere to bring that object to the front, and then you can grab the top edge to move it around.

Wish I had known about this, my FvS is off timer right now, due to me spreading time between 4 characters and programming a game of my own. No where near the raw power some of you are claiming, but then I can't seem to catch a break on gear farming. Even GS mats, the ones I need never drop.
