Barbarian Gear layout

As I'm about to finish leveling my first tr a Half Orc Barbarian with Pally past life, I'm beginning to wonder how i should set up my gear at level 20. I am currently level 19 but i feel I'm not putting out as much damage as i could be. So, what gear should i be looking for at cap? and how should i plan out my gear in the mean time (i.e. what can i get easily to help out till i get Vulkors ect.)

Currently i wear:

Head Minos
Neck: Kialu's / GH clickie
Goggles: Triple Earth Hp
Cloak: +4 Resistance
Belt: Knosts
Gloves: Titans grip / Spectral's
Boots: Feather Fall
Ring 1: 25% Strider
Ring 2: Free
Bracers: Levik's
Trinket: Shimmering Arrow Head
Armour: Deathblock Robe / Life Shield robe

Weapons: Lit II Falchion, Min II Greataxe, Triple Pos Maul

At level 20 I'll be able to pick up my Teir 3 event gloves, what should i slot these with?

As well as gear I'm having trouble getting the most out of my enhancments, what is optimal on a basic HO Barbarian?

Neck: Kyosho's necklace
Goggles: Mentau's
Cloak: Earthgrab HP cloak
Belt: Knosts
Gloves: Epic claw
Boots: Madstone/FoM

Ring 2: Kyosho's

you have mentaus goggles but what do you use when you swap out for marilith chain?

I am in the process of revaulating my gear but here is my current for now and the wants:


Head: Minos legen / Epic Big top for UMD slotted with +1 exp cha
(want to get epic red dragon helm)
Armor: DT with 10% healing / +1 exp con / Radiance guard
(want to get 20% intice and disenegration guard / Marilith chain/ red dragon)
Trinket: Litany of the Dead
Necklace: Shintao cord / Silver flame
Ring: +6 wis ring / FF / underwater (want to get the monk set with 20% amp)
Belt: Knost
Ring: +6 str ring (want to get set and slot with +2 exp str)
Gloves: Epic claw
Bracers: Epic claw
Cloak: GS HP (want to get epic envenom cloak with toughness)
Goggles: Tharnes / (will be crafting minII GS HP soon)

I cannot recommend enough the benefits of 400 silver flame favor for silver flame pot healing but you need to setup your gear to ensure you've got 11+ in every stat for it to work.



Head - Ideally a +15 intim hat from the event. If not a random swap +15 intim hat for times you need to get aggro back from a sorc
Goggles - Tharnes/GS HP for tanking
Armor: Ideally Epic Marilith Chain (This can be rough to obtain) - Alternatively DT Armor with 10% Healing Amp, Earthgrab and corrosive salt - a couple of swap DT's can be nice
Cloak: Epic Envenomed Cloak slotted with toughness
BRacers: Epic Bracers of the Claw
Gloves: Epic Gloves of the Claw
Neck: Shintao
Ring1: Shintao slotted with 20% Healing Amp
Ring2: Frenzied Berzerker slotted with +2 Strength
Boots: Madstones
Trinket: Litany of the Dead/Greater Bold Trinket/Bloodstone (Depends on if you're getting seeker from Epic Chain)
Belt: Frenzied Berzerker

In the above setup you'd still need to deal with Charisma and Intelligence to get 11+ in each stat. You can optionally put one on your DT Armor and/or slot one on an epic item like the SOS or both.

For me I have:
Epic Marilith Chain (Toughness)
Greater Bold Trinket,
ESOS slotted with +6 Int - Covers Int
+15 Intim +6 Charisma pirate hat - Covers Charisma
Madstone Boots - Covers Dex
Frenzied Berzerker Set (+2 Str)
Shintao set (+20% healing amp) - Covers wisdom
Epic Cloak of Night (Gonna swap for envenomed cloak)
Tharne's Goggles/GS HP Goggles

I get a 429pt heal every time I drink a silver flame pot so it's well worth the effort and expense. It can save a raid if you have a healer go down.

Good catch My barb was WF last life, and now he is a level 12 Horc. I'll figure that out when he gets to 20 haha.
