Thinkin bout taking the leap...

Ok, so ive been a premium member for almost 2 years now, ive bought alost all packs/races/classes etc. and i have been thinking about going VIP for a few months, simply because im sick of saying "sorry don't got that pack yet" and i dont want to buy anymore packs until i know im gonna want to keep them.

Only problem is, i don't own a credit card, i buy my points with mobile phone credit, i don't use PayPal for myself and my Debit card in Ireland isn't accepted as payment with Turbine.

Is using a Visa/Mastercard the ONLY way i can go VIP in my situation, or is there another way??

FYI, i know it can seem pointless to go vip when i own so much of whats to offer but there are soeof the perks i don't get with Premium i wud like to try out, like opening on Elite soi dont lost a completion to normal when sacking on hard or elite etc.

If there is, or will be in the future, a way to go VIP without using the cards listed (Which i don't own) PLEASE let me know!! I'm looking to purchase a years VIP or whatever the max is in one payment.

I own a Debit card that is MAESTRO, seems pretty common here, but i doubt it will ever be accepted in the US.

I also want to now if the idea of putting an item in the DDO store to purchase a period of onths granting VIP status was ever followed up.

The only suggestion I can come up with is to contact Turbine customer support via their web page. Maybe they can help you. Good luck.

Yeah, buy a prepaid/gift credit card. It may or may not work with the myaccount site (a few months ago DDO site stopped accepting the cards I use) but if you call customer support, they will enter it manually.

Just save yourself the frustration and contact turbine customer support by phone, avoid the ticket/email support. At least this was my experience. I almost gave up on the game because of payment issues, then I felt stupid when they were resolved immediately as soon as I called by phone.
