Help with making a clonk (18clr/2monk)

I've been looking at builds for a while, and I've decided that I want a clonk.
After looking at a bunch of clonk builds, I would like to know what type of weapon is best?
If anyone could help me with a clonk build, that would be pretty awesome.
Any input on feats, stats, race, gear, etc. would be extremely helpful.

Do you want to focus on melee, or casting?

I would like to be able to be capable of doing somewhat decent damage so I can do more than just stand there and be a healbot, but would like to have strong offensive spells. I'm kind of torn between the two.
