I am trying to download DDO on a laptop...it won't.
I get the download window up and downloading begins, but then within seconds the data amount downloaded goes from 878 KBPS then goes down by almost 100 every second to 0 and stops, saying Calculating time remaining zero. The nothing happens. The connection is fine, I can play Starcraft just fine and browse the internet fine.
Any help?

Alternate download site in my sig. IIRC, you'll need a free account to fileplanet to get it but I used it about a week ago when I reinstalled. Came down around 2MB / sec on my connection. It'll need some updates.
It occurs to me that the dice are being rolled by the same computer that's trying to kill me. It knows all the moves - it's just toying with me.
