Default Any use a programmable keypad???

Was thinking of investing in something like to give me easy access to more of my toolbars in the heat of combat:

which has 21 programmable keys - and each key can have up to 24 characters per operation so you might be able to jury rig some sort of gear swapping macro or similar.

X-keys seems to be much better and more customisable but more expensive:

Also you can apparently just use a standard usb number pad along side your normal number pad and have one with num lock on and the other with it off - anyone tried this??

Don't fancy the Nostromo controller much:

    other ideas welcomed.

I used the Nostromo back when I played Eve On-line. was very handy for that particular game.

Now I just use the G-15 gaming keyboard. Not all that helpful since the 'G' keys do not have their own keyboard codes. Or if they do, I can't find out what they are. Also, DDO doesn't recognize the 'G' keys which makes them almost useless. I have to use weird key combos in my keymapping, then program the 'G' keys to those key combos. A bit of a pain to get working, but handy for some things.
