*nods* That's good. My human evoker with hound shield has a blocking DR of ~28. I didn't know about the DoD proc. nor factor in the HP procs. Thanks
Yep - Divine Power does bump your blockign DR while it's running and Yep, i love my evoker. I have yet to find a situation it doesn't work well for
dod does not stack with fvs DR

Which is why I actually prefer a WF 18FvS/2Mnk for epic solo'ing.
If you use the DoD all the time (which i do) then the WF dr isn't that big of a deal. Going 2 monk effectively frees up 3 feats, 2 gained from monk levels and 1 from not taking adamantine body.
On top of the feats you gain evasion, a stance that gives a plus 1 DC to all spells as well as +2 (or is it +3) to all saves. Note that the "blocking DR" calculations are the exact same as pure since the DoD overwrites FvS dr.
Now the big loss of 18/2 is losing those spells, it usually hurts to only have 1 level 9 spell. But on a solo only focused build you can pass up mass heal and just take Implosion.
I find that avoiding big spikes of spell dmg when solo'ing epics is more valuable than a free cure light wounds on WF platform. Just my 2 cents anyway.

Hey guys, tanks all for the advices... Im going for a WF 20FvS 20 on this life. On this way i can test the natural DR and DoD for the final choice on the 3rd life.
Im going to Battle cuz i have a wizard and the playstyle will be pretty much the same.
Again, tks all for help.
I dont think the DoD is worth giving up the ability to kite effectively! Repent! whilst you still can!

I just LR'd my FvS into something basically exactly like this (Human for PA + Extend), without seeing this. I'm glad to see it now, though. It felt kind of insane to be spending a feat for a single martial weapon proficiency, but I don't see much alternative besides WF for Greataxe (which wasn't an option for an LR).
I wish non-WF religions actually got useful weapons. A one-hander is almost completely pointless when it takes dumping almost all Divine-casting ability to get viable TWF.
