    Default Build for reaching level 15...

    I play in a static group that is currently level 15. We have an open slot and a friend needs to level up and join us. He will be making a Paladin, and I will be making a character to play with him to help him level quickly. We will be doing only good xp/min quests and plan on running N/N/N/H/E. We will often have a battlecleric to heal us. When we dont have a battle cleric I plan on dropping a cleric hireling to heal.

    I have thought about several different builds and would like some advice on which would be the best for an untwinked 4 to 15 leveling run... I dont care how gimped they are at 16 or even 20... I care how fast he can go from 4 to 15 untwinked.

    I have two builds I'm thinking of running, but i'm not sure which would be best for this. Anyone have advice or suggestions? I'm open for many other builds as well.

    Build 1) HO TWF Ranger/Fighter/Monk - This build uses long swords and full plate. He should have enough AC that he is hard to hit, and can use healing wands. - Toughness and Power Attack come very late because of all the required feats even with the fighter levels. The primary reason for the monk levels are to get Power Attack one level earlier.

    Build 2) HO THF Fighter - This build couldn't be any simpler. Just pure THF goodness. It cant self heal at all though. Hirelings FTW.

    I would recommend a pure warchanter with THF. Songs, buffs, haste, melee capable (somewhat less so by level 15, but still good contributions), can heal in a pinch. You could try to mix in some CC too, but I wouldn't bother with it for a short term character - brute force!
