Titanic Docent = Upgrade?

The Titanic Docent looks really cool, but, it isn't. 30dr for "15 seconds" my butt.

You'd have to use it while actually tanking to benefit from the full 15 seconds.

It only has 1 CHARGE! It's one of the coolest, yet worst items you can get from the Titan raid.

Please maybe give it more charges, or make it last 1 minute. Or heck, both.. It could be useful in EDQ.

i think there are quite a few items from the titan raid that could use a boost.

epic titan would certainly be interesting...

but i agree with you, 1 charge, 15 seconds. the idea behind it is cool, as is the name. but, it isn't all that great

I'd like to see a hidden side effect, like that of the madstone boots. If it was like that, I could live with the 15 seconds, 30 would be borderline more beneficiary though.

If it goes epic I'd like to see it along the lines of this:

Stacking DR/- 3
Titan's shield 4x/recharge 2 per day (30 DR/SR)
lasts 45 seconds (or 30 seconds if they don't want to change the normal 15 seconds
Blue augment slot

of course, I think the titan shield thing would have to be thought out more

Dod proc + madstone shield blocking =dr 38+
I always liked the idea ofthe titanic docent and could justify few short charges by virtue of the higher dr coupled with the ability to proc it on demand with no hamstring.
Unfortunately 1 charge and nothing else is just not good enough even for flavor.

agreed, it should at least be better than the dod, and yeh I know the dod came after. I guess in time it may get revamped, alot of things need bug fixes first

Aside from the gloves, boots, belt, ring, sickle, and maybe the visor, all of Titan's loot needs upgraded to make it a bit more desirable. The drop rates also need to be increased, as on elite it has the worst rates of any raid in the game.

Just note that when raid loot is adjusted, you have to go get another drop. They almost never add in a way to upgrade your current copy to the new copy.
