Prestige in DDO are enhancements, and not classes. An elf or half elf 18 cleric 2 monk can take elven arcane archer enhancements. An elf of half elf can be any class combination, and as long as they take the prereq feats can qualify for AA and take AA. They will want to have a blue bar to imbue arrows with, but that can be obtained many different ways.

I'm so confused. It looks like people are using BOWS?!!?? Can someone explain this to me please? Something's not right with the world.

the requirements for the party were AA elf. Alixer is an AA elf, nuff said.....besides, look at the SS, he didnt have to heal much and all the deaths were either from the wall or the mandatory 12.

I'll give you the first run though, (this was the 3rd). The fighters were AA elf but the arcane was not an AA I believe.

peer pressure made me put my Min2/Lit2 scimitars away.............not my normal style!

all in all, a nice change of pace for a quest ive got almost a 1000 total completions on.
    should be there sunday.

p/s I wish I had a SS of the poor orthon getting mauled by 10 kittys after he got earthgrabbed...priceless.

Probably not much more than a dozen kitty deaths. We called them up for the last fight just to see it.

Yeah had a spot of trouble on some of the puzzles and then had someone DC during that part as well, so we waited on him. These are things that only ever happen to arcane archers of course, so that is a huge failing of the class.

AA speed run was sugested by me before the party broke up but yea 54 minutes sucks, but 15-20 mins was wasted on DC'S, waiting, puzzles etc.

Harry went down in 1 round in part 4 so the Dps was there. A little more gearing and under 30 mins no problem.

If Archers were DPS then it wouldn't have taken 54 minutes to run a Shroud.
That's like 20 minutes slower than a craptastic pug.
    .... just sayin....
Seriously. A bad pug is 150% better than a group of archers. The math speaks for itself.

You're joking, right? Or did you not read any of the replies posted before yours?

Your lack of AA knowledge is disturbing.

fail. elven AA does not require ranger levels, the (arguably) most effective AAs are 12/6/2 ftr/rgr/rog kensai II AA or 18/1/1 ftr/wiz/rgr Kensai III AA

it is also possible to build an AA cleric

inquiry, am i allowed to pull out swords and melee at any point or no?
