    Default Blade Barrier Ward Tweak

    I understand mobs only taking BB damage on the way in and out of a BB and not while inside but it doesnt make sense that if a mob is standing in place with blades passing through them they only take the one tick of damage. Is there any chance of changing this, bringing it more in line with the way a DoT like Acid Fog or Firewall work?

    I think youre gripe is connected to how the animation is, know however that blade barrier is supposed ot be a static thing, imagine something like the spike traps in various quest, those that can't be disarmed and don't have any animation whatsoever ( in the maze in crucible, for istance, or in rainbow in the dark).
    They do damage only while you cross the pointy area, otherwise they do nothing.

    Conceptually, blade barrier is like that, except they gave it a fancy moving animation

    Yeh the annimation makes it look more like blenderbarrier than a wall made of static blades. Although i would like the annimation to burst outwards from the centre to form the circle.

    So rather than the being the blender it appears to be its more like spikes? The animation would lead one to believe that the blades are moving horizontally. Silly me

    according to this http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Blade_Barrier the way it is implemented doesn't seem quite right.
    from that it would seem to be like a wall made of blades like the ones in part 4 of shroud either in a straight wall or in a circle. either way you would think anything standing in that wall would continue to take damage.

    Interestingly, I've heard that on pen and paper blade barrier can be raised from a distance as a wall.
    Just the way a fire wall is used.

    Would be nice to have the option of how to cast it,
    even if I may usually prefer to use it the way it is.
