Connection to Server Issue

So last night me and two guildies were runnin rainbow. Lag was not really an issue that I had noticed and the run was pretty typical until everyone stops moving including the two hirelings in party. We were on TS together and we were all experiencing the same thing, but a guildy not in our group was having no issues. Literally we wait for a minute or two and then one of my guildies being impatient hits alt+F4 and upon coming back into game is in merida. Finally me and the other remaining guildy get a connection to server is lost error and get booted from the game. Instance is gone after we relog in.

Multiple people having connection is lost issues not playing in the same state at the same time is unusual so I thought I would ask did anyone else have this sort of thing occur last night?

About what time? I was on from probably about 7:00 EST to 10:30ish or so, and had no problems.

I was logged in from about 5 pm CT until 9 pm CT last night and didn't have any issues either. Is it possible one person was having connections issues that caused issues for the entire party? I have heard of this happening.

Yeah, I've never seen this multiple minute thing where no one in party can move before from a single person going LD.

Then when two of us finally went LD after the third alt+F4 it was kind of unusual also. Kinds of reminds of the issue we had a few months ago when people would go LD kind of in this quick wave across the server. Seems like it was isolated to zone probably though from the lack of response.

Had the same issue occur in Rainbow, but it was not last night. We had a full party of 6 players all in the same guild. All of us were experiencing the same issue and ended up recalling out of the zone because the rubberbanding lag and people stopping moving altogether for minutes at a time made the quest not runnable.

I've never had anything quite like this, and last night was fairly lag free for me.

Last night 10:00-11:30 EST was getting BRUTAL lag spikes where people we complaining about it in channels, guild and general chat.

I saw no rhyme or reason, but assumed maybe the handwrap lag bug was still in play.

Was funny, trying to knock out a bit of favor and dodging fireballs to the face before they were thrown.

I kept seeing a hitching animation in Fire Ele's motions and could move before the "throw" actually ensued.
