    Default yet another (post 6/15 update) crafted handwraps bug

    First let me say thank you for fixing the previous attack/damage bug with non-crafted handwraps

    Now, this bug has cropped up since the update today, or at least this is the first that I have seen it if it has been happening before.
    It only effects crafted handwraps that have a prefix and/or suffix damage component (so almost all crafted handwraps)
    If you take off or put on a TOD ring (that has a burst effect added to it only) while wearing said crafted wraps, the prefix and suffix damage components will no longer proc until you take those wraps off and put them back on

    Example: crafted True Chaos handwraps of Construct Bane in use, take off or put on my Kyosho’s ring with added shocking burst effect and hit the training dummy on board guild airship. Your chaos and bane damage will not occur. Take off those wraps and put them back on and both damages will start up again.

    This bug has been reported and is nowhere near as serious as the previous bug was, but as more and more crafted wraps start to be used, it will get more and more annoying.

    I know this isn't the point BUT...how often do you really take off your crafted ToD rings? And I'm not saying that they shouldn't fix this as fast as possible; I'm just wondering how often it would really affect a monk because I know I NEVER remove my ToD rings.

    I change rings fairly often, for pvp, running with devils, and wrath of flame I take off my holy burst ring and put on my unholyburst ring. Or for epic von1-3 I take off my shocking burst ring and put on my flaming burst oremi's ring and put on my +5 shocking burst, icy burst handwraps of pure good.

    All in all I know I'm not alone in changing rings from time to time for a little extra boost in damage pending on the foes you're fighting. That and I like seeing as many lines as possible of various damages. Base, sneak, shock, frost, flaming, oremi's fire, holy, pure good, and ki strike. (on crits add shocking burst, holy burst, icy burst, flaming burst.)
    Veriden, Orien server: Lost count of lives. 3 of all base classes, 3 halfling, 2 gnome...working on trying to make the game work again. May or may not return.

    I for the most part do not take them off either, however I do have several ring clickies that I currently do not have on any other gear atm. Switching over to use the clickie and then back triggers the bug. And while I usually do not do that in combat, I will have to remember this when I hit the cleric with an Aid clickie when he goes incap...and other situations like this

    Thanks for sharing, that's good to know. I noticed this too when I logged on to my monk character and started a quest, the crafted wraps I logged out with weren't proccing the damage but it worked fine when I quick swapped back and forth with another pair.

    I swap my rings out occasionally too. Most often I swap shocking burst for the gnawed ring set with acid burst for either the extra reflex or for more damage against enemies like the Abbot. I swap often enough I could see this being minorly annoying, but nothing too big. It should still be fixed though.

    I only change my rings when I am buying or selling but still... that is not the only issue.

    All ToD bonuses (i.e. Shintao Cord + Kyosho's Ring) stops working with crafted wraps even though the icons still show in you buff section if you look at your to-hit and damage you will see a change in +5 wraps vs +5 crafted wraps. It is as if the code is not telling the system that we have an unarmed weapon slotted.

    Also, the bonus to hit from bane is not working with crafted wraps...

    Ever monk that reads this to test this for yourself and bug report what you find, the more information they have the more likely they will be able to fix it.

    I swap TOD rings all the time depending on what I need. This is getting to be ridiculous. They need to get their act together with handwraps. I mean they know handwraps are going to have issues due to the way they coded these things, so start testing this stuff.
