Would be nifty if more spells interacted positively

It's also magical fire, so it should be able to burn through a snow storm or gust of wind.
It can, just not a magical snow storm of gust of wind

You could just use gust of wind for this.

I'm pretty sure these spells functionalities were ONLY put in the game due to the developers personal dislike of wall of fire. As they decided that they wanted something else to be overpowered now, mission accomplished btw, there is no reason to gimp the gimped fire savants any further when they run with pretty much any other savant.

Personally, I think it should be an All In or All Out deal.

Either all spells effect party members, including friendly-fire on all spells. Or, there is total non-interactivity between them. But, the logic on why some spells have an effect on the party while others do not just seems arbitrary and semi-random.

I don't think that they should remove you being able to disable your own spells; you placing an icestorm on top of a firewall should cancel the firewall, using Gust of Wind should cancel either (But *** does it cancel Otto's Sphere?)

But; I'm all /signed for casters not canceling out each others spells.
Let like stacking bonuses scale down tiers; i.e. wearing a +2 dodge/excep. item and a +2 dodge/excep. item currently is only +2; let the 2nd +2 item imitate a +1 item, giving you +3. Allow this for all stacking bonuses (Heal. Amp 30->20->10) Absorption (20->15->10)etc. Lowest tier bonuses (10 Heal Amp, 10 absorb, 1 dodge) do not scale down ever.

In a forced cooperation game people are encouraged to communicate strategy and tactics. I end up with others of the same class in parties alot and find that contribution of each party member is not lessened any after communication is observed.

    Freedom of movement! or fireball...

    anyways...

Wish granted, you can no longer counter-act your spells or your allies' spells, however, due to an unforseen bug now all your spells affect your party members TWICE as much. Enjoy!
