+4 Unbound Tomes for Trade

I have +4 Unbound Str, Int and Wis tomes gathering dust in the bank. Obviously I know they are awesome but I just can't bring myself to nom them in case I TR. I was really hoping for the Devs to finally let us keep used tomes but it's not looking likely so I thought I would see what people are willing to offer for 1 or more of them.

I didn't loot them, they were from an event. I'm deeply, deeply unlucky with loot.

I remember seeing a thread for another server and they were falling over themselves to give 12 - 20 FRDS as well as offers of 8 million plat (from 4 characters) and other items.

Things like that...I would say you could reasonably get almost anything in game (unbound) you want for 1 of those. Depends on what you want.

Well im on Khyber so thats that, but I would give 45 Large DEV scales, 8 reds an optic nerve, spectral gloves (?) if im remembering that right it in my bank, The blood stone, epic hellstroke scroll, 25 tomes of +1's and +2's, heck Id send you 500k every month till i quite the game, you name it.... If I had it SOLD.....

At one point in time I had offered someone else 13 milpp made up of "some combination" of larges, reds, plat etc. I believe I was the highest offer; and had several people tell me I was over-paying. After a week or so I stopped receiving PM responses and the thread was never updated, so I'm not sure what it ended up going for.

That said, I would happily offer a lot for some of these, but with my larges gone to Turbine's buggy-ass system, and most of my reds traded to make up for my missing larges, I'm essentially left with large sums of plat only ><

If you are referring to the +4 constitution tome that was up on these forums not too too long ago, then it is still collecting dust in my bank at the moment, I don't remember what I ended up paying for it, but I know I payed mostly in scrolls and still have plenty of riches to spare.

On Argo I purchased a +4 dex tome from another player for 7.5 million plat. To my knowledge, it's the largest plat-only purchase that has actually been made in DDO.

Edit: BTW, I'm curious how many gold coins you turned in to get three +4 tomes? I'm sure you must have beaten the odds, no matter how many it was. I have turned in many thousands and not gotten one myself.

I assume he's one of the Euros who transferred over. DDO Europe ran some event(s) that gave away +4 unbound tomes as rewards.

Given the fact that I offered about that including 2 of the scrolls on your list can I get an update as to whether or not my offer is acceptable?

Are you just testing the waters or are you planning on actually selling?
