- Wolf (or Lion/Tiger) - something 4-legged with speed and average dps
- Bear (or Ape) - something with more dps
- Elemental - Special purpose, some dps

These could come as prestige enhancements at levels 6/12/18
Druid capstone will have to be very attractive or I expect we'll see lots of LN monk2/druid18s

Dragons would be awesome if it was a prestige form, and the prereqs were an elemental specialization. For example - lightning specced Druid would become a blue dragon.

I doubt it would happen that way, but it would be cool.

Best option, I think:

1) Bear
2) Snake (Similar to a Marilith, maybe?)
3) Spider/Scorpion

Each has good amount of balance if you think about it right. Bears are slow, but powerful and hearty. Snakes are dangerous and fast, but not very hearty. Spiders/Scorps are sneaky and fast but only moderately dangerous and not very hearty. So you'd have a Tank, DPS and scout/run-away sort of form selection. And if you want to cast, stay humanoid, obviously.

Got to love the flying ability, ability to get through small cracks/keyholes, so numerous that most baddies wouldn't notice an extra one, and smart enough to avoid webs/spiders/mouths. Be great if you could use spells (fly shooting fireballs). Though horse tail fly swatters might start showing up....

If they're limited to critters that already appear in DDO:

1. Cave Bat (yeah, see how you like trying to hit the fluttery thing, monsters!): invisibility for scouting goodness.
2. Razor Cat: spiky with knockdown for DPS.
3. Earth Elemental: stony with added DR for tankiness.
